Our training and work experience

At 9 Lives, we provide vocational training and work experience for people who are recovering from mental health problems or who have a learning disability.

Our welcoming and caring environment, friendly staff and volunteers make it a great place to gain skills and confidence in order to move into work and be part of the community.

We train students in our dedicated workshop to refurbish, paint and up-cycle furniture for sale in our shop, giving students a great sense of achievement that they have made an old unloved piece of furniture into something that people want in their home.

So if you enjoy being practical and creative, then contact us to register for our free course.

Alternatively there are work experience opportunities if you would like to work in our shop or help with our van service in a supported capacity.

We have a lot of fun and make all our students feel at home, wanted and valued, giving them a way to help others and be part of the community.
